The grace of God makes salvation available to us through the cross of Calvary, and it is a free gift. Before we can obey the Gospel, we must first believe the Gospel. The Bible indicates that having saving faith is more than just believing that Jesus died and rose again. True faith will cause us to follow and obey God. Examples of full salvation are repentance, water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. (Rom. 10:10-16; I Cor. 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 38)

The One True God, The Jehovah of the Old Testament, took upon Himself the form of man, and as the Son of man, was born of the virgin Mary. (I Tim. 3:16) This one true God was manifest in the flesh, that is, in His Son Jesus Christ. (II Cor. 5:19) We believe that, “in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” (Col. 2:9; Col. 1:19; I Tim. 2:5) Jesus on His Father’s side was divine, on His mother’s side, human; Thus, He was known as the Son of God and also the Son of man, or the God-man.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, which lives in every Christian from the moment they receive it. The term “baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire,” “Filled with the Holy Spirit,” and the “gift of the Holy Ghost” are synonymous terms used interchangeably in the Bible. It is scriptural to expect all who receive the gift, filling, or baptism of the Holy Spirit to receive the same physical, initial sign of speaking with other tongues. The Holy Spirit provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. It provides believers with spiritual gifts when they are saved, as well as the fruit of the Spirit. (See II Cor. 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; I Cor. 2:12, 3:16; Eph. 1:13; Gal 5:25; Eph. 5:18; Acts 2:4, 2:33; Matt. 3:11)

Baptism is an important step in a Christian’s life. In Matthew 3 we see that John the Baptist baptized Jesus himself. Baptism is a symbolic act by which we share in the death and life of Jesus Christ. He died and was buried for our sins’ sake. The process of being submerged in water represents the death and burial of our old life. But Jesus was also raised from the dead in order to give us eternal life. As we’re raised out of the water, it represents our newfound life in Christ. We identify with what Jesus went through for us.

We believe that the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in Jesus bodily – Colossians 2:9

We believe salvation comes by repentance, water baptism in Jesus Name and Holy Ghost infilling – Acts 2:38

We believe in the necessity of Jesus name baptism – Acts 8:16, Acts 19:5

We believe that the evidence of Holy Ghost infilling is speaking in tongues – Acts 10:45-46

We believe that every believer is given power to live a victorious, overcoming life – I John 5:4-5

We believe in the operation of the Gifts of The Spirit – I Corinthians 12:1-28

We believe that divine healing through the redemptive work of Christ is available for every believer – James 5:14, I Peter 2:24
